How ItReserve Invoice Module connects to Reservit

Invoice Module connects to your Reservit account and monitors reservation status changes using the Reservit reservations webhook endpoint. When a reservation transitions to "checked out" status, Invoice Module reads the complete folio for that reservation — all charges, credits, taxes, billing address and guest profile — from the Reservit folio API.

The module processes this data through its EU VAT calculation engine, which applies the correct VAT rate based on the billing address country and the charge type. It then generates a compliant PDF invoice and stores it in the ItReserve invoice archive. The PDF is simultaneously emailed to the guest address recorded in the Reservit reservation and, if the booking is linked to a corporate account, to the corporate billing contact.

For corporate accounts, Invoice Module can also aggregate folios across multiple reservations within a billing period. It reads all reservations linked to a Reservit company profile, groups their folios by month or by billing reference, and generates a consolidated invoice. The consolidated invoice references the individual Reservit reservation IDs in an appendix, giving corporate finance teams the reservation-level detail they need for expense reconciliation.

Frequently asked questions

By default, Invoice Module generates an invoice for every reservation that reaches "checked out" status in Reservit. You can configure exclusion rules — for example, excluding certain market segments or OTA sources — to limit generation to the reservations that require a formal invoice.

Group bookings in Reservit consist of multiple linked reservation records. Invoice Module can generate one invoice per reservation or a single consolidated group invoice covering all linked reservations, depending on the billing configuration you set for that guest or company profile.

Invoice Module currently supports English, French, German and Italian invoice templates. The template language is selected per invoice — you can configure a default language for each corporate account or guest country, and override it manually for individual invoices from the dashboard.
